This privacy statement describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from Zo Zero.

Zo Zero, located in Amsterdam, is responsible for the processing of personal data as shown in this privacy statement.

Personal data that we process

Zo Zero processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide us with this data yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we process:
- First and last name
- Address details
- Email address
- IP address
- Internet browser and device type
- Location data and time zone
- Other personal data that you actively provide, for example by creating a profile on this website, in correspondence and by telephone
- Information about your activities on our website (individual web pages or products you view, which websites or search terms referred you to our website and information about how you navigate our website)
- Payment details

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this permission, please contact us via hallo@zozoro.shop, then we will delete this information.

For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?

Zo Zero processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Processing your payment
- Screening orders for a possible fraud risk
- To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to carry out our services
- Sending our newsletter
- To inform you about changes to our services and products
- To offer you the opportunity to create an account
- To deliver goods and services to you
-Zo Zero analyses your behaviour on the website in order to improve the website and tailor the range of products and services to your preferences
- Zo Zero also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so.

How long we store personal data

Zo Zero does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the goals for which your data is collected. We then use your data (for example the value of your order) anonymously for internal analyses.

The tax authorities require us to keep your invoice, order and payment details for at least seven years as part of our administration.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Zo Zero only provides data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. This concerns parties for processing orders, processing payments, delivering packages and sending newsletters.

We use Shopify to process our orders and payments, read here more about how Shopify uses your personal information. We use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use our site, read here more about how Google uses your personal information. You can also log out for Google Analytics. We use Mailchimp to send our newsletters, read here more about how Mailchimp uses your personal data. We use Cycloon to send our packages, read here more about how Cycloon uses your personal data.

These parties may only use your data to provide you with a service on behalf of Zo Zero. Data shared with data management parties will only be used for the purpose of the application. We will never sell your data to third parties.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

Zo Zero uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website.

Zo Zero uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferred settings are remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website work properly and to optimize it.

In addition, we place cookies that track your surfing behavior so that we can offer customized content and advertisements. During your first visit to our website, we informed you about these cookies and asked your permission to place them. You You can delete all information previously stored via your browser settings. You can also specifically opt out of targeted advertising from Facebook and Google. Please note that we do not alter our website's data collection and use practices when we receive a "Do Not Track" signal from your browser.

View, modify or delete data

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Zo Zero and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for withdrawal of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to hallo@zozoro.shop.To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Zo Zero would also like to point out that you have the option to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority. Please note that your data will be transferred to countries outside Europe, including Canada and the United States.

How we protect personal data

Zo Zero takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
